For Teachers

Everything you need to run GGU with a whole classroom of girls.

Free facilitator guide

Start here: a 5-minute setup

  1. 1. Pick the track that matches your grade band (see below).
  2. 2. Share your classroom access code so every girl unlocks her books.
  3. 3. Project the Read tab; let girls follow along on tablets or in print.
  4. 4. Close each session with one keepsake saved to her Glow Journal.

Choose your track

  • Little Leaders · Ages 5–10 — Big feelings, big dreams, tiny queens in training.
  • Rising Queens · Ages 11–13 — Real talk about identity, emotions and owning your voice.
  • Future Queens · Ages 14–18 — Adulting, entrepreneurship, and standards you never lower.

Pacing that fits a class period

  • • Each chapter contains several lessons; divide it into sessions that fit your group.
  • • Use each chapter guide to plan opening, reading, practice, discussion and reflection.
  • • Brain games unlock after a lesson is finished — great as an earned reward.
  • • A full book runs about 5 weeks with one session per week.

Finish each book with an application

The final chapter of every five-chapter book includes one age-scaled Book Application. It asks learners to use one concrete tool from each chapter in a project, plan, or discussion—not to repeat a quiz or wait through a timer.

  • • The final-chapter guide below includes the project task, worked examples, output and feedback checks.
  • • Offer paper, a notebook, or slides; learners may use an invented scenario instead of personal details.
  • • Give formative feedback with the listed look-fors. This reader does not submit work or create a grade record.
  • • Let learners revise after discussion; ask for adult approval before any action outside the classroom or group.

Running it with a group

  • • Use the Community tab for circle prompts and partner shares.
  • • Pair girls for the Notes tab so quieter students still get a voice.
  • • Print the workbook pages for students without devices — same content.
  • • Respect privacy, but explain that adults must seek help if someone may be unsafe.

What it builds

  • • SEL: self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, responsible decisions.
  • • Financial literacy: earning, saving, spending, investing, protecting.
  • • Literacy: read-aloud practice, vocabulary, reflective writing.
  • • Leadership: goal setting, service projects and public voice.

Bring GGU to your school
